Reading Together® at Woodstock School

Reading Together® programme

We all know how very important reading is for children to succeed. Research shows that support from home really helps children to become good readers.

We believe in a Home School Partnership because we know that you, the families:

  • are the greatest influence on your child's learning and are essential to their success at school
  • can share ways that will make an even greater impact on your child's learning, with support from other parents and teachers
  • can establish a caring working partnership between school staff and the community.

The programme consisted of four workshops.

The children absolutely loved attending one of the workshops where they got to spend special quality time reading to their parent at school.

Thank you very much to the parents who attended the workshops.
